Not tax or legal advice
This app helps you record odometer readings and distances and classify stops as business or private. It does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice. Home-to-work travel is usually private, not business — you are responsible for how you classify trips. Consult a registered tax practitioner before using your records for any official purpose.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for keeping records. Many tax advisers recommend retaining travel records for at least five years. Verify exports before submission.
Exports
CSV and PDF exports are for record-keeping only. Optional “SARS eLogbook” column layouts mirror a common worksheet format for convenience — they are not endorsed by SARS and do not guarantee acceptance. Indicative Rand amounts (if enabled) use a rate you configure; they are estimates only.
Subscription, trial, and cloud sync
Sign-in is required on the production app. You receive 1 full calendar month free, then a monthly R89 incl. VAT subscription (billed via Lemon Squeezy; checkout may charge in USD) to keep logging, cloud sync, and exports. There is no annual plan. Refunds follow the payment provider’s policy.
Checkout total: Lemon shows R89 incl. VAT when tax-inclusive pricing is enabled. Your bank statement may show slightly more (for example card foreign-exchange or bank fees) — that is between you and your bank, not AuraStudioZa.
Cancellation: If you pay via Lemon Squeezy, open Settings → Manage billing to cancel or update your card. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current paid billing period (not immediately). After that date, logging, sync, and exports require a new subscription. You can also email support@aurastudioza.com.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. Keep your account signed in so your logbook stays synced. You may also download a JSON copy from Settings for your records.
