Where your data lives
When cloud sign-in is enabled, your logbook (vehicles, stops, settings) is stored in our database (Supabase) tied to your Clerk account and cached in IndexedDB on your device for speed and offline use. Changes sync automatically after you save while signed in.
Subscription & trial
Sign-in is required. You get 1 full calendar month free, then a paid subscription (Lemon Squeezy) for logging, cloud sync, and CSV/PDF exports. We store subscription status (account id, plan status, renewal dates) linked to your sign-in. We do not receive your card details.
Cloud sync
While your trial or subscription is active, we keep one encrypted-at-rest JSON backup per account so you can open your logbook on a new device. Contact support@aurastudioza.com to request deletion.
Optional JSON download
You can download a JSON file from Settings. This file stays on your device — it does not move to a new phone automatically. Anyone with the file can read your logbook.
What we may process
- Sign-in account (Clerk) — email and user id.
- Subscription status (Lemon Squeezy webhook) — plan active/cancelled and renewal dates.
- Cloud logbook data — vehicles, stops, and settings tied to your account.
- Support email if you contact support@aurastudioza.com.
POPIA (South Africa)
If we process personal information (e.g. via support or a future account system), we do so in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Request access or deletion by emailing support@aurastudioza.com.
Third parties
Sign-in: Clerk. Subscriptions: Lemon Squeezy. Cloud backup database: Supabase. PDF export uses a local library when installed; if unavailable, a one-time download from a CDN may occur. Fonts may load from Google Fonts when online.
